All the money donated and collected from 10am to 8pm is going to both of these organizations, to help keep museum summer programs free and to teach more young people about Appalachian instruments and music. Throughout the day the J.A.M. kids will be playing, different musicians throughout the day will be playing on the porch of our workshops. There will be demonstrations from some of our artisans during this time too. J.A.M. and the Matthews Living History Farm Museum, are non profit organizations that support each other in keeping Appalachian history alive.
