Come on out and bring the kids to an old fashion Autumn Folk festival. During the day we will have hay wagon rides, pumpkin carving, music, pumpkin butter and much more. This is a day and night event. We will celebrate different cultures and their unique ways of celebrating Fall. This year we are celebrating the Scot/Irish and German Culture. Grayson County Historical Society will be doing two lectures on the influence of these cultures in Grayson County. One at noon and one at 2:00PM.Come watch volunteers do the Witches Broom dance during the day at 2:30PM!!! If you didn’t have time to carve a pumpkin well this is your chance to add a Jack O’ Lantern to our Light the Porch Event. There will be demonstrators in and around the Museum. There will be Heritage Craft vendors in the vendor lot, so bring money and support these artisans. Wagon rides and music! Just a fun filled day. There will be food and drink available throughout the day, brought to us by the JROTC of Carroll County Schools.
