Adam McPeak and Mountain Thunder are from Southwest Virginia and the group is composed primarily of young bluegrass musicians with mandolin player Adam McPeak at the helm since the age of 13.
Adam didn’t have to look beyond the Blue Ridge Mountains of his home for the sound he was searching for, the rich blend of harmonies from his dad, Mike McPeak, also on rhythm guitar. Steve Chrisley lending his deep rich baritone and picking the five string banjo, as Marlon Dean saws out the fiddle breaks and plays twin and harmony fiddle with Nikki Wright, as she is putting out the rich and powerful vocals on both lead and harmony and David Chrisley holds them all together on the bass fiddle.
Tickets will be $15 at the door starting at 6pm.
