Blue Ridge Music Center

Open seasonally, May through October, the Blue Ridge Music Center celebrates the music and musicians of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located at milepost 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the site includes an outdoor amphitheater and indoor interpretive center. The Music Center hosts a summer Saturday night concert series featuring regional and national roots-based Americana, bluegrass, old-time, gospel, blues, and more, free Midday Mountain Music held in the afternoon every day the Music Center is open featuring local musicians, an indoor interpretive center with the award-winning Roots of American Music museum exhibit, and hiking trails. The site is operated through a partnership between the National Park Service and the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
