The Blue Ridge Music Center (BRMC) is an historic site and natural area on the Blue Ridge Parkway established by the U.S. Congress to honor and commemorate an important strand of the cultural history of the United States. The Center tells the story of mountain roots Music through live performances every Saturday during the summer season at an outdoor state-of-the-art amphitheater. BRMC showcases performers who are steeped in roots Music of the southern Appalachian Mountains. Later in Spring 2005 the center will also be home to an interpretative center.
